For more than 14 years, I owned and operated a portrait framing business, helping artists, photographers, and families preserve their treasured memories. Every frame told a story, and I loved being part of the process of bringing artwork to life through thoughtful presentation and craftsmanship.
While framing was my passion, painting was always quietly waiting in the background. Between running a business and serving my clients, there was little time to pick up a brush and explore my own creativity.
Today, i have embraced that long-held dream and paint full-time.
Childhood years in the Northern Cape
Growing up in a boarding school from grade 1 to 12, I spent most of my weekends and holidays on a farm between Kathu and Kuruman. I absolutely loved the open spaces and the afternoon rides to the cribs. It was a truly unforgettable experience that has shaped who I am today.
